Coffee Chick

If you like coffee, you will like this “Coffee Chicken”.

If you read my blog long enough, you will know I am allergic to coffee, but I am quite fine with this dish, so if I want to taste the coffee, I can order this as much as I can, of course my pocket must have enough money.

However, I managed to speak with the chef about this unique food, and he told me they need to soak the chicken with coffee for at least a day, then only they will cook and serve it.

So if you happen to come to Kedah, Malaysia, you can try this chicken dancing coffee in Holiday Villa, I give it a 4 star (5 star is the most).

Hmmm, it taste good. I am a coffee addict.

Strange, you are allergic with coffee but not this one. I think they put a food magic spell.

I remember my Uncle he don't like to eat beef but he likes to eat conrned beef. Does it make a sense?

Erm... So, what does it taste like? You said it was good, but can you actually taste the coffee, or does the dish loose it's coffee-rich taste after frying/baking?

That sounds like an odd dish, but I bet it would go over big in coffee-obssessed America.

Blogger's latest disaster kept me from making my intended St. Patrick's Day post (in fact I still can't use my regular browser on Blogger blogs, grrrrrrrr), so I'm belatedly giving you my latest dazzling poetic offering:

Be of good cheer
And drink some green beer
St. Patrick's Day is here!! :-)

Hi! Are you from Malaysia? It's cool to come across a Malaysian via BlogMad. I seldom come across any Asian blog here.
Anyway, I like your blog. But I'd never try this Coffee Chicken before. Can only be found in Kedah??

Wow, coffee-chicken! This I will have to try when I have a chance to go up North. Have tried coca-cola chicken and sprite chicken when in Bandung some years back. And chicken using sugar instead of chili in Pekanbaru. Surprisingly not yucky! Cofee chicken should be interesting...
